Morning we will continue our drive to Nubra Valley also called Dumra. It lies in the north of Leh. Morning after breakfast check out from the Nubra camp and continue your drive to Pangong Lake en route visit Shayok, upon arrival check in at the camp in Pangong. After that indo-china border sightseeing, shooting, dinner and a night halt in Pangong camp.
Nubra- Nubra, also called Dumra, is a historical region of Ladakh. It is inhabited areas from a tri-armed valley cut by the Nubra and Shyok rivers. Its Tibetan name Dumra means "valley of flowers". Demands have been raised and BJP has hinted at the creation of Nubra as a new district. Diskit, the headquarters of Nubra, is 120 km north of Leh, the capital of Ladakh. Visit the 150-year-old Samasthanling Gompa at Bumur/ Khagar. It is a big complex of 7 temples including the Ricpoches room. Walk half an hour from the gompa to Tegar village where there is another small gompa. Walk through the village and explore the surroundings. Also, a small lake lies there. Later get back to Leh after driving 1723 km.
