Welcome to Shield Defence Academy, a premier coaching institute in Lucknow, dedicated to training students for competitive defence entrance exams like NDA, CDS, AFCAT, Air Force X & Y Group, Navy, SSB and more.

Before you register or continue using our services (classes, tests, website or mobile app), we request you to carefully read the following Terms and Conditions. These terms act as a mutual agreement between the academy and you (the student/parent/guardian) for a smooth and transparent learning journey.

By enrolling, using our resources, or accessing our digital platforms, you agree to comply with these terms.

Admission Policy – Transparent Process for All

Shield Defence Academy welcomes all eligible candidates for various defence-oriented coaching programs.

Admission Eligibility:

• Must meet age and educational requirements for the selected course (e.g., 12th passed for NDA).

• Fill out the registration form accurately (online or offline).

• Provide valid ID and educational documents.

• Submit passport-size photographs and guardian's details (for minors).

• Pay the initial registration/admission fee.

We reserve the right to reject incomplete or fake applications.

Enrolment Validity:

• Admission is valid only for the specific batch/course duration.

• Extension to the next batch may attract additional fees.

Course Material Access:

• Study material, test papers, or books provided are only for enrolled students and cannot be shared, resold, or reproduced.

Fee Structure, Payment & Refund Policy

At Shield Defence Academy, we believe in clear and honest pricing.

Payment Terms:

• Fees must be paid in full or as per the installment plan at the time of admission.

• All payments are to be made via cash, UPI, cheque, or online modes approved by the academy.

• Late fee submission (after due date) may attract a penalty.

Fee Components May Include:

• Admission Fee

• Tuition Fee

• Hostel or PG Fee (if availing accommodation)

• Study Material Charges

• Uniform Fee (if applicable)

Refund & Cancellation:

• Fees once paid are non-refundable and non-transferable, except in case of:

  • Medical emergency (with proof)

  • Death in the family (immediate kin)

  • Academy-side batch cancellation

• Refund requests must be made in writing and approved by the management.

• Processing time: 15 working days (if approved).

Code of Conduct – Student Behaviour Guidelines

Discipline is the backbone of defence services, and we instill the same from Day 1.

All students are expected to:

Follow:

• Attend classes regularly and be punctual.

• Wear appropriate clothing and maintain hygiene.

• Carry ID cards within the premises.

• Complete assignments and participate in mock tests.

Avoid:

• Indulging in fights, bullying or any misbehaviour with peers or staff.

• Damaging academy property (CCTV monitored premises).

• Using mobile phones during lectures (unless permitted).

• Recording or sharing class content without written permission.

Violation may lead to warnings, suspension, or even cancellation of admission without refund.

We expect students to uphold the values of respect, responsibility, and resilience.

Use of Digital Platforms & Study Resources

With the growing importance of hybrid learning, Shield Defence Academy provides access to:

• Mobile app

• Website portal

• Online test series

• Video lectures

• Live sessions

• WhatsApp updates

Usage Guidelines:

• Digital content is only for personal use by the registered student.

• Sharing login credentials, downloading content illegally, or circulating PDFs/videos outside is strictly prohibited.

• Violation will lead to immediate removal from online platforms and may lead to legal action.

We try our best to ensure uptime and smooth functioning of online systems, but we are not liable for delays caused due to server issues, internet problems, or government restrictions.

Academy Rights & Responsibilities

Shield Defence Academy reserves the right to:

• Modify course content, faculty, or class schedule if required.

• Shift classes online/offline/hybrid based on health advisories or technical reasons.

• Conduct surprise tests, interviews or SSB simulations without prior notice.

• Publish merit lists, results, and performance rankings (without full personal data disclosure).

We are committed to:

• Listening to student/parent grievances and resolving them promptly.
