“My children, listen carefully. You are the bright future of our country, and you will become leaders. Therefore, you must strive to be excellent in character. To achieve this, you should practice speaking the truth, cultivating humility and meekness, increasing tolerance, obeying your parents, respecting elders, avoiding harsh words, controlling anger, and upholding the reputation of our college.”

“Sā vidyā tanmatiryayā”

This is the great saying of Ved Vyasa:

“Tatkarm Haritosham Yat Sa Vidya Tanmatirya” – Śrīmad Bhāgavat Mahāpurāṇa (4.29.49)

Its meaning is: “The purpose of education is to cultivate love for God, which brings peace, happiness, and liberation from the ocean of worldly existence.” We have two dimensions to our existence: the physical and the spiritual, and we seek the development of both. If only the body is developed—healthy, strong, and skilled—but the inner world, the mind and heart, remain impure, even someone like Bill Gates would remain restless and unhappy. Physical progress alone cannot bring true peace. Therefore, both material and spiritual progress are essential. Just as we cleanse and adorn our body externally with bathing and clothes, we must also cultivate inner beauty through good conduct and moral values

We hope that the teachers at our institution will maintain a relationship with students similar to that of a father with his daughter—guiding them not only in material success but also in spiritual growth, so their minds find peace. Among teachers, there are seniors and juniors. They should think of a father with four children: the children may differ in age, but all have equal rights to the father’s property. Similarly, seniority should not imply superiority; those more experienced should show humility toward the juniors. We aim to establish such love and ideals among teachers and students that our college shines not only in Pratapgarh but across India. This is especially important because my name is associated with this institution. As you know, I have been honored with the title of Jagadguru by the Kashi Vidvat Parishat, recognized worldwide. There should therefore be a distinction between our college and others. Everyone must perform their duties faithfully—teachers and students alike—and maintain love, respect, and care in all interactions.
